'Dowry’s Sugar Bowl’ to vie at Singapore World Intl. Filmfest.

TEHRAN, Feb. 15 (MNA) – Ali Molagholipour’s comedy-drama film ‘Dowry’s Sugar Bowl’ will be screened at the completion section of Singapore World International Film Festival.

Following the participation of Molagholipour’s feature film in various international film festivals, ‘Dowry’s Sugar Bowl’ will now compete with other film productions from across the globe at Singapore World International Film Festival on 8-9 April, 2016.

In addition to Singapore, the festival will also be held in other countries such as Austrian, the US, Canada and India.  

‘Dowry’s Sugar Bowl’ written and directed by Ali Molaghlipour is a comedy, drama film about a couple Ata and Masoumeh who are living in a rented house. Their lease time is over and they cannot pay the rent. However, they like to stay and live in the house.

The World International Film Festival is a global Industry event held around the year in the world biggest cities including New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brisbane, Rome, Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna, - with the main objective to provide the opportunity for the filmmakers from all over the world to showcase their films in a welcoming environment.
